Finance professor Paolo Fulghieri’s research interests are in corporate finance, entrepreneurial finance and financial intermediation, with a special focus on venture capital and initial public offerings.
His research has been published in leading finance and economics journals such as the Journal of Political Economy, Journal of Finance, Journal of Financial Economics and Review of Financial Studies.
He served as co-editor of the Review of Financial Studies (2006-10) and executive editor of the Review of Corporate Finance Studies (2012-2018). He is past president of the Financial Intermediation Research Society (FIRS).
Dr. Fulghieri has taught extensively corporate finance in the MBA and Executive Education programs at Columbia University, Northwestern University, University of Chicago and INSEAD, where he was also dean of its PhD program.
He received his PhD and MA in economics from the University of Pennsylvania and his Laurea in economics from Università Commerciale L. Bocconi in Milan.
