There are many secrets to great leadership. Energy crafting shouldn’t be overlooked. Each of us has a dual responsibility to ourselves and the people around us, whether they are our direct reports, customers, partners, or team members. The energy we cultivate in ourselves is our responsibility, and the energy we bring to others is like the weather we make. The research suggests that the secret is a mindset shift to be aware, respond intentionally, and reframe. The effects are ranging and powerful both for the individual, their team, and their organization. Both at work and at home, we bear the dual responsibility to ourselves and others.
