Seyed Emadi
Associate Professor of Operations and Sarah Graham Kenan Scholar
The research focus of Seyed Emadi is the empirical service operations area. Specifically, he is interested in understanding customer behavior from data using statistical and machine learning methods ranging from regressions and the structural estimation approach to neural networks and principal component analyses.
Dr. Emadi joined the UNC Kenan-Flagler faculty in 2013.
He received his PhD in operations management from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, where he also received an MSc in Operations Management. He also received an MSc and a BSc, both in electrical engineering, from Sharif University of Technology in Tehran.
