UREC welcomes all UNC students and fosters students’ professional development through educational programming, professional networking, career treks and access to technical training.
We meet weekly during the academic year with meetings that include the following kinds of activities:
Weekly newsletters keep you informed of club activities, internship and full-time job postings, and other opportunities in the field.
You don’t have to be a business major or a real estate minor to join UREC! Sign up through Heel Life website today!
We like to make sure students are applying what they learn to the real world of real estate. We do so in the following ways:
Case Competitions – Each year the Wood Center sponsors a team to compete in a national real estate case competition. Four business majors in the Real Estate Area of Emphasis compete each year and earn a trip to the semi-final competition should their case be chosen to advance!
Career Treks – Over fall break, we organize career treks to tour companies and job sites at 4 or 5 companies within a major city. Previous treks have been to Atlanta, Washington, D.C. and Charlotte, to name a few.
UNC Real Estate Conference – Undergraduate students can attend the Wood Center’s yearly real estate conference for free. The conference offers a great way to network with professionals in the field.
