Alumni Weekend 2022 returns in person

After two years of cancelations and virtual pivoting, Alumni Weekend 2022 is officially on for April 22-23, 2022, in Chapel Hill.

This year’s event will include celebrating milestone reunions for ’2 and ’7 classes; belated gatherings for ’1 and ’6 graduating classes; and, for the first time, bringing together all Master of Accounting (MAC) alums.

You’ll have a chance to choose your own adventure throughout the weekend. Whether you’re coming to flex new skills, to be inspired or to be back in your Carolina community, we’ve got you covered. During Alumni Weekend you can:

• Shoot baskets and eat, drink and dance on the floor of the Dean E. Smith Center
• Soak in the spring sunshine with outdoor programs, activities and unstructured time to connect with classmates, faculty and fellow alums
• Advance your career with educational programming and one-on-one career coaching sessions by appointment
• Be awed by the cutting-edge research shared by UNC Kenan-Flagler faculty on topics relevant to your life
• Hear from Dean Doug Shackelford on the latest innovations and what the future holds for the School
• Leave Carolina filled with Tar Heel pride and knowing you’ve made a difference as an alumnus

Join in on congratulating our two classes celebrating their 50th reunions: the Class of 1971 and the Class of 1972! These golden milestones offer a rare chance for younger generations to glean the wisdom and enjoy the storytelling of fellow Tar Heels in business.

The success of Alumni Weekend depends in large part on the energy and enthusiasm of our volunteer leaders – Class Connectors. They help plan the weekend, generate enthusiasm for the event, encourage classmates to attend and raise critical funds for the School.

Make your gift at the same time you register! All gifts made to UNC Kenan-Flagler between July 1, 2021, and June 30, 2022, count toward your class campaign, but all giving incentives end on April 23, 2022.
