One of the hallmarks of the STEM Designated Master of Accounting Program at UNC Kenan-Flagler is the diversity of its student body — diversity in thought, diversity in experience, and diversity in culture. As such, we welcome students from all over the world into our program.
Our program offers international students outstanding educational and employment opportunities. You will learn the technical skills required to be a successful accountant as well as the interpersonal and communication skills that American firms and corporations expect from their incoming accountants. Due to the large number of international applications we receive, our program is highly competitive, but for those accepted, it’s a very rewarding experience.
Our on-campus format, delivered on the UNC campus in beautiful Chapel Hill, North Carolina, invites students to travel to the U.S. to earn a MAC degree. Our online format, delivered entirely online, allows students to earn the same degree, from the same top-notch faculty, without relocating. While there are some visa restrictions that prevent international students from participating in certain aspects of the online program, the online format is still an excellent option for students who wish to earn a U.S.-based degree and make valuable connections in the United States.
