Hi! I’m Tim Macchi, a UNC Kenan-Flagler MBA student from Sarasota, Florida. My background is unique – I hold a public health degree from George Washington University and a nursing degree from Emory University. For the past 9 years, I excelled in the fast-paced world of healthcare; working as an EMT, a cardiovascular ICU and field medicine nurse, and a clinical instructor. Beyond direct patient care, I explored the intricacies of healthcare policy through my work with health insurers. These experiences sparked my interest in healthcare consulting. The UNC Kenan-Flagler MBA allows me to leverage my patient care, policy knowledge, and analytical skills to make a real impact in this field.
I’m excited about the diverse perspectives I bring to the program, and I’m eager to connect with prospective Tar Heels on their MBA journeys!
