Requirements and Deadlines

How and when to apply.

Our Master of Science in Management program is open to all bachelor’s degree holders from accredited institutions, regardless of major. No work experience is required. Once our application opens later this spring, you’ll start by applying to the program. The process is swift and straightforward, but it’s important that you invest effort in crafting a strong application. Below, we’ve outlined the requirements in detail.

Our application requirements.

1. Unofficial transcripts*. Include records of all undergraduate coursework, noting:

  • Institutions where degrees were obtained
  • Transfer credits and summer/extension programs
  • Other institutions where courses were taken for credit
    *We only require unofficial transcripts for initial review.

2. Two recommenders. Select two individuals who know you well and can give honest feedback through a quick online survey. Once you’ve chosen them, we’ll handle reaching out to make it easy for you.

3. Two 300-word essays.

  • Essay 1: Share your story, highlight your background, motivations, and unique qualities.
  • Essay 2: How will your strengths contribute to our classroom culture and what are your career goals?

4. Your resume or LinkedIn profile, which includes educational, employment, and achievement history with dates.

What happens after your application has been submitted.

When we review your application, we carefully consider your educational background, work experience, and life achievements. Our approach is holistic; we assess your entire application comprehensively rather than focusing on isolated sections. Every applicant to our program is unique and we look forward to meeting you.

Get interviewed: After reviewing applications, the MS in Management admissions committee selects finalists for virtual interviews. Applicants will receive an email to schedule their interview once their application is complete. Business attire is recommended.

Get a decision: Decisions are typically made as applications are reviewed. Remember, applying early maximizes opportunities for fellowship and financial aid.
