UNC Kenan-Flagler’s Undergraduate Business program is a professional school within the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. All students apply to the business major or minor options through an intra-transfer process as a current student after their first year or second year of study.

UNC Kenan-Flagler selects a small group of high-achieving prospective students for assured admission to the undergraduate business major. The Assured Enrollment Program (also commonly referred to as Assured Admission to Business) is one of a few assured enrollment Special Opportunities offered to a small percentage of incoming students.
Special Opportunities nominees are selected for the Assured Enrollment Program through a comprehensive evaluation of their UNC Undergraduate Admissions application. You do not need to provide a supplemental application for the Assured Enrollment Program. Students are chosen based on the following criteria:
If you’re selected for the Assured Enrollment Program you are not required to declare Business on your general application to UNC. Should your academic interests change, there is no obligation to pursue a business degree.
If you are granted Assured Enrollment, you will need to meet the program requirements described below along with submitting a streamlined version of the normal application after your first year at UNC.
