International Remote Internship Opportunity in Summer 2025

Argentina:

Get a glimpse of la vida porteña by interning remotely for eight weeks in a company located in Buenos Aires or Mendoza. As the capital of Argentina, Buenos Aires is one of the most diverse and cosmopolitan cities of South America. Called the “Paris of South America,” this city of over 3.5 million people is full of arts, food, music, and sports. Mendoza is set in the foothills of the Andes Mountains, Mendoza is known as “the land of good sunshine and good wine.” Home to nearly 1 million residents, Mendoza boasts innovative startups and impactful nonprofit organizations.

Uruguay:

Spend eight weeks interning remotely with a company in the capital and largest city of Uruguay. Although it is a city of only 1.3 million people, it headquarters Mercosur and ALADI, Latin America’s trading blocs, and has a very international feel. Montevideo offers a vibrant culture and is a huge hub in the entrepreneurial and technological space due to its location and economic stability. It is known for its economic stability, as well as South America’s highest-ranking city for quality of living.

Remote Internships:

Interns will work with a team based in Argentina or Uruguay. You will have frequent engagement with your supervisor and working teams. Interns will also interact frequently with our internship provider, Puentes Abroad, who will coordinate additional internship oversight, professional development seminars, and cultural activities.

Internship Skill Development:

During this summer experience, you will apply the theories and concepts you’ve learned in class to a professional international working environment, learning and practicing the customs, behaviors, and norms of another culture.

The skills you develop on this internship will transform you as a leader and give you a distinct competitive advantage in the job market. Along with practicing fundamental workplace skills, you will prove that you can work in a diverse environment, adapt to change, be a flexible problem solver, and integrate successfully into a diverse and cross-cultural team—all high-demand skills for today’s globally-minded employers.

Work Location/Hours:

You will work remotely Monday through Friday for eight weeks at your placement company as an intern for 25-30 hours per week. Given this is a virtual internship program, your work schedule may vary depending on your project and team needs.
